Location: Parkfield Academy, Hurn, Christchurch, BH23 6DF
Salary Range: Grade 4, £19,698 rising to a maximum of £20,903, pro-rata per annum
Hours/Contract: Term-time only, Part-time (Monday to Thursday), Temporary until 16 July 2021: 26 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

We are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to provide lesson cover, enabling specialist teacher intervention. This includes doing the register, providing work sheets set by the teacher and ensuring continuity for students until the usual class teacher returns.
The Person: The role requires that objective and accurate feedback is given and the behaviour policy of the school is adopted during cover sessions. Holding a HLTA qualification is advantageous, but not essential. We are looking for some of the following qualities and experience:
Experience of working with classes or large groups of pupils
Experience of working in a secondary and/or primary school
Good standard of English & Mathematics at Grade C or above
Ability to apply good behaviour management strategies in the classroom
Patience and resilience
Awareness of child protection and bullying issues
