Executive Business Managers
Reach South Academy Trust is seeking two exceptional Executive Business Managers (EBMs)
Post: Executive Business Manager (EBM)
Location: One post covering schools in Plymouth, Devon
One post covering schools in Bournemouth and Wiltshire
Base: One post will be Plymouth based at UTC Plymouth and the other post will be dependent on the location of the successful candidate but either in Calne, Wiltshire or Bournemouth. There will be significant travel required for both roles
Salary Range: circa £37,000 per annum
Hours/Contract: Permanent Contract: 37.5 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year
The Role: The post will support the strategic development of a cluster of academies by working closely with the local Senior Leadership Teams and the central Executive Team, to enable effective decision making and achievement of academy aims.
The post will act as the principal financial officer for the academies, and provide high quality financial support and advice to ensure that the academies make the best possible use of resources and are able to provide the best outcomes for pupils.
The post will be responsible for managing the academies’ budgets, along with maximising income generation and implementing cost saving initiatives.
In addition, the post will assist academies to address all other school business management matters such as personnel, premises, ICT and health and safety.
Background: Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 13 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset and Wiltshire
