Salary Range: £22,627 - £24,491 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours/Contract: Full-time, Permanent contract: 37 hours per week
The Role: An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Trust as an ICT Technician. The role will be the first point of contact for all ICT related enquiries to the Trust and its associated schools. Working closely with the IT Manager to provide technical support to teachers and pupils to install, order and maintain software and hardware.
The Person: The role is best suited to individuals who thrive on working as part of a small team but are equally happy to work with autonomy, taking responsibility for their own workload and seeing things through to conclusion. The successful candidate will be expected to receive and accurately log calls and emails efficiently and in a professional manner. Previous experience of working on a Service Desk and using service management tools is desirable.
Academy Background: The Springfield Academy is a Reach South Academy for young people aged 5-19 with autism. We have 170 pupils attending our Calne site and 40 pupils at our Satellite provision in Salisbury. Our goal is to build safe independent lives for autistic young people through support, understanding and enablement.
Springfields is a fantastic, vibrant and caring community that engages pupils and develops positive attitudes to learning. Our autism approach is accessed by all our pupils and is personalised to meet specific needs. All our pupils have an education, health and care plan.
