Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint 2 exceptional Midday Supervisors to join the school in October 2020.

Salary Range:            BG2, SCP 2-3, £17,711 - £18,065 pro rata, per annum, subject to performance

Hours/Contract:         Term time only, 38 weeks per year, part-time, 5 hours a week, permanent contract

The Role: We are looking for caring and committed people to join our support staff at Hill View Primary Academy. You’ll be working in a team of like-minded individuals who all want the best for the School. You’ll be supervising lunchtimes, ensuring the children are safe and sensible while eating and playing. Keeping and maintaining a clean and hygienic area while the children eat.

The Person:  Experience of working is a childcare environment and being able to cope under pressure is essential.

We are looking for people who have the following experience and qualities:

  • Ability to treat pupil’s with dignity, building relationships with mutual respect

  • Relevant experience of working with children, ability to motivate, using positive behaviour strategies

  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative

  • Ability to display effective communication skills with both children and adults

  • Enthusiasm to work collaboratively in a wider team, whilst being adaptable and open to new ideas and practices

  • Ability to ensure Safeguarding practices are upheld

  • Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths

  • Ability to deal with change and unpredictability positively with a ‘can-do’ attitude
