Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint two exceptional Midday Supervisors to join the school in Hill View Primary Academy.
Post: Midday Supervisor – two posts
Start Date: October 2020
Location: Hill View Primary Academy, Hill View Road, Bournemouth BH10 5BD
Salary Range: BG2 £18,198 rising to a maximum of £18,933, subject to experience, pro- rata, per annum
Hours/Contract: Part Time, Term Time, 5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Permanent Position
The Role: We are looking for caring and committed people to join our support staff at Hill View Primary, you’ll be working in a team of like-minded individuals who all want the best for the school. You’ll be supervising lunchtimes, ensuring the children are safe and sensible while eating and playing. Keeping and maintaining a clean and hygienic area while the children eat.
The Person: Experience of working is a childcare environment and being able to cope under pressure is essential. We are looking for people who have the following experience and qualities:
Treat pupil’s with dignity, building relationships with mutual respect
Relevant experience of working with children, ability to motivate, using positive behaviour strategies
Have the ability to work independently and use own initiative
Be able to display effective communication skills with both children and adults
Be eager to work collaboratively in a wider team, be adaptable and open to new ideas and practices
Ensure safeguarding practices are upheld
Able to deal with change and unpredictability positively with a “can do” attitude.
Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths
