Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional Morning Club Assistant to join the school in October 2020.

Start Date: October 2020
Location: Hill View Primary Academy, Bournemouth
Salary Range: BG3, SCP 4-6, £18,426 - £19,171 pro rata, per annum, subject to performance
Hours/Contract: Term time only, 38 weeks per year, part-time, 5 hours a week, permanent contract
The Role: We are looking to appoint a Morning Club Assistant to work alongside an existing team from October 2020 or earlier if possible. You will be supervising children and ensuring a safe and caring environment. You would be required to assist with ensuring provisions are available for the children, preparing snacks as required, setting up and tidying up of the area and interacting with the children encouraging a fun and friendly experience.
The Person: We are looking for people who have the following experience and qualities:
• Level 2 Childcare qualification e.g. NVQ 2 or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience of working with children in the 4-11 years age range and their families
• Experience of working as a team providing high quality childcare services
• Knowledge of child protection issues and policies and relevant Safeguarding procedures
• Ability to establish good professional relationships with others
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of commitment to planning to overcome difficulties faced by children
• Ability to contribute to team-working in a supportive and professional way
