Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint two exceptional Mealtime Assistants to join the school in November 2020.

Location: Stoke Damerel Primary Academy, Collingwood Road, Plymouth, PL1 5PA
Salary Range: Grade A - SCP1, £17,842 pro rata per annum
Hours/Contract: Term time only, part-time, Temporary contract until 31 August 2021: 6.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
The Role: We are looking for caring and committed people to join our support staff at Stoke Damerel Primary Academy, you’ll be working in a team of like-minded individuals who all want the best for the school. You’ll be supervising lunchtimes, ensuring the children are safe and sensible while eating and playing. Keeping and maintaining a clean and hygienic area while the children eat.
The Person: We are looking for people who have the following experience and qualities:
Encourage the children to eat the meal provided and promote appropriate table manners and behaviour
Ensure the safety, welfare and appropriate conduct of pupils during the midday break period in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school
Ensure the health, safety, conduct and well-being of all pupils
Undertake playground duty, supervising by circulating amongst children
Ensure the dining area is kept clean and in a hygienic condition
Ensure playground equipment is used and stored properly
School Background: We are a friendly two form entry primary school, based near the city centre, catering for children age 4-11yrs. We provide exciting experiences and opportunities for all of our children throughout the school. Our vision is to be an outstanding school, delivering excellent results.
