Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional Office Manager to join the school in High Street Primary Academy.

Post:                           Office Manager

Start Date:                  November 2020

Location:                    High Street Primary Academy, High Street, Plymouth, PL1 3SJ 

Salary Range:            Grade E SCP 15-19, £23,541 rising to a maximum of £25,911, subject to experience, pro- rata, per annum

Hours/Contract:         Term time only, Part-time, Permanent contract: 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

The Role: We are seeking an Office Manager to be responsible for the management and delivery of all office and administrative services for the school.


The Person: We are looking for people who have the following experience and qualities:

 

  • Solve varied problems related to financial management, administration and staff management

  •  Have strong IT skills

  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills in order to train and motivate their own

  • Good general education – Minimum of 5 GCSE’s, Grade A* - C with Grade A*-C in Maths and English

  • NVQ4 in Business and Administration or equivalent (i.e. School Business Professional Qualification)

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a school environment and managing people

  • Demonstrable experience of working with financial systems and procedures

  • Demonstrable experience of working with HR systems and procedures

  • Experience of successfully managing, leading and developing relevant administrative/ financial functions, including sound budget control and advice

School Background: High Street Primary School is a popular and successful primary school. There is a strong family atmosphere in our school, the children feel safe and cared for.
