Salary Range: Grade E, £22,911 rising to a maximum of £25,295 pro rata, per annum, subject to performance
Hours/Contract: 37 hours a week, 40 weeks per annum, permanent contract, term time
The Role: A highly motivated Office Manager is sought for Millbay Academy. The role offers variety, challenge and responsibility, working with the Executive Business Manager and the Senior Leadership Team of the School. The position would suit someone who is able to multi task and work accurately and efficiently under pressure in a fast changing environment
The Person: The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and administrative skills and be able to communicate effectively. You will be qualified to NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or have the equivalent experience. Duties include: managing a business school office including a team of administrators, being the key point of contact for all staff, implementing and maintaining new office systems, preparing documents, taking minutes, handling correspondence and dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. Training will be available for key duties.
School Background: Millbay Academy is a 3 -16 mainstream, city centre, all-through school sponsored by Plymouth College of Art. We opened our Primary phase in September 2013, and our Secondary phase in September 2014.
Our initial intake comprised 94 students (Reception and Year One). We now have over 900 students in the school, from Preschool to Year 11.
Trust Background: Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 14 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset and Wiltshire.
