Administration Assistant
The Role & Location:
The post will be in support to the Executive Assistant to the CEO and other Senior Administrative colleagues within the Trust. Main responsibilities will involve performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to assist and collaborate with colleagues to meet the aims and daily office needs of Reach South’s general administrative activities.

This role will be predominantly based in Plymouth, but your place of work may vary occasionally across the Trust, with current academies located in Plymouth, Wiltshire and Bournemouth.

Background:
Reach South is a new and dynamic charitable education Trust based in the South West. First established in Plymouth with eight founding primary academies; these were subsequently joined in November 2017 by its first Special Academy, based in Wiltshire, and then very recently, by two further primary academies in Bournemouth during March this year.

Reach South is a part of the REACH family of MATs. The founding Trust, REAch2 Academy Trust, was launched by its founder Sir Steve Lancashire in 2012 and now operates 55 primary academies across the Midlands and South East of England. Reach South operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education.

We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles. At the heart of those values and principles is a belief in our young people and a determination to support them to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes to become the successful citizens for today and all of their tomorrows. Our vision is to enable individual academies to flourish with real autonomy, whilst also ensuring a strong ethos of support and collaboration across our schools.

Our core business is delivering exceptional education for children and young people with a mission to help all pupils aspire to achieve beyond the expectations that others put on them. We do this through the development of a talented and committed work force. In order to deliver exceptional opportunities for learning, we need highly motivated staff across the all parts of the organisation. Therefore, we are looking for an outstanding individual to help support the Trust centrally with its day to day activities and planning for the exciting developments that lay ahead.

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and very well organised individual with a can-do attitude to be part of a fast-growing and well-regarded charitable organisation.
