GAIL Reaches Its Highest Point

On 28th April, we were delighted to take part in the topping‑out ceremony at Gloucestershire Academy for Inspirational Learning (GAIL) - marking a significant moment as the building reaches its highest point and moves into the next phase of construction.

Delivered on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council, this investment is part of a wider programme to expand SEND provision across the county, helping children remain connected to their communities while receiving the support they need to thrive.

As the Trust for GAIL, we are immensely proud to see this carefully designed, safe and inclusive school taking shape, one that will inspire learning and belonging for generations to come!

💬Kelly-Leigh Kulyk Headteacher of GAIL, shared:
“I am incredibly proud to be working alongside our local community to help create a school that truly belongs to everyone. Together, we are building meaningful and inclusive learning opportunities for our pupils, families and local partners. It is wonderful to see the school taking shape, and I am really looking forward to the year ahead and to welcoming pupils into what will be a fantastic place to learn and grow.”

Opening in 2027, GAIL will eventually provide up to 200 specialist places for primary and secondary pupils, supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to access high‑quality education closer to home.

Thank you to everyone involved in reaching this important milestone, from our project partners to the wider community who joined us to celebrate.

We’re excited for what lies ahead as GAIL continues to become a reality.
